Before you start
A few habits that keep files moving.
Send every page. Lenders need complete statements — including the pages that say "this page intentionally left blank."
Keep new credit on hold. Avoid opening cards, financing furniture or changing jobs until after closing, unless we talk first.
Leave a paper trail. Large deposits should be easy to source. Avoid moving cash around without a record.
Clear photos are fine. Phone photos work as long as every edge and number is readable.
These checklists are general guides. Every lender and scenario is different, and additional or different documents may be requested during underwriting. This is not a commitment to lend. Rick Anthony, NMLS #2436255. Barrett Financial Group, L.L.C., NMLS #181106. Equal Housing Opportunity.
A general guide — your lender may request additional or different items. For your privacy, checkmarks aren't saved.
